Religious Education
At Balksbury Federation, our religious education curriculum gives our children a broad understanding of world religions. We follow Hampshire County Council’s syllabus called ‘The Living Difference lV’. It builds on the approach to religious education, enriched by philosophical and theological enquiry, as well as current research. The curriculum is predominantly Christian in focus but each key stage focuses on other world religions.
Parents have the right to withdraw their child from all or part of Religious Education and can do so without giving any explanation. If you wish to withdraw your child from Religious Education lessons, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
